Events

Kat specialises in many Yoga styles and teaches regular in-person workshops and events in Edinburgh. These events are a great way to deepen your practice, pamper yourself and meet new people. You have time to work closely with your teacher to find modifications, styles and asanas that support your unique body and give yourself some time to recharge and relax.

 

Yoga Nap - online session

  • Yoga Nap is a therapeutic, restorative technique that teaches you how to slow down, how to release tension and restore the sense of balance, peace and wellbeing.

  • Yoga Nap is an active relaxation practice that provides healing for the body and the mind with a help of props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks. The poses are designed to be comfortable.

  • This Restorative Yoga session is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities. It can also help you cope with insomnia, recover from illness, injury or overcome emotional depression and anxiety. The other benefits also include improved immunity, better mood, sleep and digestion. This session is suitable for beginners.

Sound & Rest Nest

  • I offer bespoke, private & group 60/90min sound journeys combined with all-level friendly, comfortable Restorative Yoga poses

  • These sessions focus on creating vibrations to clear away blocked energy, bringing us back into balance on a cellular level

  • Ideal as a private session, or a lovely event for friends, family or any special occasion.

  • Studio location: East Side Yoga, 109 Broughton St, Edinburgh EH1 3RZ

  • We have some props at the studio, so please bring your own mat, a blanket and wear comfortable clothes

Flow Into Winter

  • This half-day retreat at Salsbury Centre in Edinburgh is a treat for the soul! A way for you to relax, wind down and give yourself space to feel welcome and at ease

  • Joanne Ewen will treat you with a mindful, energising vinyasa practice suitable for all levels

  • After a short break with tea and nibbles, Kat Aydin will guide you through a deeply relaxing, meditative Yoga Nap practice combined with breath work and all-level friendly Restorative & Yin yoga poses.

Yoga & Brunch Club

  • A lovely event for the body & soul

  • We gather every few month at the lovely Santosa Wellness Centre and move, breathe, meditate, relax and eat delicious vegetarian/vegan food together

  • We start with 90 minutes practice that involves gentle Yoga, breathing techniques, functional movement, strength exercises, and finish with a deeply relaxing restorative practice, while our amazing Santosa chefs prepare a nutritious vegan/vegetarian brunch

  • This session is suitable for people who have already had some Yoga experience
